You might be ready for an editor to help you figureout why the middle feels slow, or you might need someone to give your finished manuscript onelast read before it goes to print. Wherever you are, we’ll help you take the next step whilekeeping the book yours.
A developmental edit looks at how your story comes together. Your editor will consider the plot, pacing, character development, and structure, including places where readers might need more from a scene or character.
A line edit works closer to the page, focusing on how your sentences, paragraphs, and dialogue read. Your editor will help smooth awkward wording and improve the flow while keeping the voice that makes the book sound like you.
With either edit, you’ll receive comments throughout your manuscript and an editorial letter that explains what’s working and where your editor sees room to strengthen the book.
A good fit if you’ve finished your draft, taken it through a round of self-editing, and are ready for professional feedback before moving forward with traditional or self-publishing.
